Apple Tasting Day was a huge success!
Thank you to all of the parents that donated apples and the many that also donated their time to help us today! We had so much fun!
1. We made applesauce and wrote how it was made.
2. We tasted hot apple cider, cold apple cider, and apple juice. We wrote describing words for each and voted on our favorite! Hot apple cider and apple juice tied for our favorite!
3. We tasted red, yellow, and green apples and wrote describing words. We voted for our favorite...red was the winner!
4. We played an apple and worm game- adding or subtracting worms from our apples!
5. We cut out an apple and went on a letter hunt in the hallway!
Ask your children about it this weekend! :)
